RGG Playtest

This page is to support playtesting of Rat Gun Game through development builds and mock scenes.

Controls

• WASD - Movement
• Space - Jump, hold down spacebar to jump higher
• S - Crouch
• Left Click - Shoot Gun, aims towards mouse position
• Left Shift - Hold to lock aiming in cardinal directions
• Escape - Pause Menu

Playtesting Instructions

We usually run playtesting during voice calls / in-person, but in case you find yourself on your own without a team member available to guide the session, here is a quick cheat sheet for how to help us out.

Key Idea: Our goal is to learn more about how players interact with our game.

In particular, it's helpful to be able to see and hear what you are thinking! A recorded video with commentary would be amazing!

Useful Tips

The playtesting menu is accessible from the main menu. Use this to choose specific levels to play and explore.

F11 toggles fullscreen and the window is resizable.

If you get softlocked, use the pause menu to return to the main menu and reload the level.
